First starter MISS CAPELLA gave her owners a big thrill when low flying down the outside to miss narrowly over 1000 metres at Orange yesterday.

It was down to the photo finish to decide the winner, with the $1.30 favourite Premosphere getting the judge's nod.

Miss Capella started at the generous odds of $18, however it is not likely the market will be that generous next start!
